honorsawards_18 Professor Gill became the national pride of Pakistan in 23 March 2007, when he was awarded Sitara-i-Imtiaz by Gen. Pervaiz Musharaf president Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Sitara-i-Imtiaz is the third highest honor given to a civilan or military personnels in pakistan. Professor Gill is awarded for distinguished contribution in the field of medicine.
